Help! I just got a misdemeanor for driving without insurance. Please advise.

A loud muffler with no insurance; and having already failed A CDL Exam , you are faced with " decision time " . Are you certain you are psychologically attuned to operating A CMV ? This is A brutal game to be in . No quarter asked;none given should be your assumption going in. The Chinese say " if you wish to see A man's future , you need only study his past " . We do have the power to change ourselves , but no one else. Acting one's way into A new way of thinking , not vice-versa is mandatory. You cannot think your way into A new way of acting. Envision the responsible , honest , meticulous attention to detail guy you must morph into , think about the consequences for every decision you will make , and act like your " ideal " role model would act. Many times, every day, we are faced with choices. For each there is A " cause and effect " consequence . The brutal reality is that there are no exceptions , and God's bills don't come due on the 30th. of the month. If you want to be A " driver " , and survive the learning curve , due diligence is the watchword . Like backing up......not quite sure where that light pole was ? Stop , get out and look, walk the walk , get assistance if needed ...........Assume nothing !

MY INSURANCE LAPSED FOR VERY VALID REASONS (FINANCIAL EMERGENCY), and i was in the process of getting it reinstated. I had only been without car insurance for 1 week, and I was pulled over for a loud muffler. I got a ticket for driving without insurance. I have been studying for my CDL for the last year, and am testing this month to get my class A CDL, having failed a previous CDL driving test. I need Any advice on a place that will hire a new driver who just got a misdemeanor for driving without insurance. Obviously I'm heartbroken, and need any advice on how to move forward. I do have a question after reading your post again....How many times has this happened? Usually it takes more than once for it to be a misdemeanor. Your State could be different.
