I don't have the black spray problem with mine because the way they are cut but I don't really like the look. Do the 45 miters help with the spray at all or do I need turn outs?

    No stacks... Weed burner.

Saves weight, keeps plumbing simple and no smoke tarping in most cases.

Plus it will fit in the door to your shop, and a lot of other places.

In my opinion, I think I would keep them short so you can get inside your shop. If you went longer you know at some point in time you would want to put your truck in the shop to work on it or to get out of the elements. I can also see your point about having them longer to make your truck look nice also. I think your truck would look good with short stacks.

Miter cut stacks at 11'10" will look fine on that truck. I ran that for years on a 379 similar to yours. A lot of steel haulers run them short like that because of old mills. Plus its nice not having to worry about low bridges lol. I dont have issues with soot on my truck. But my engines a CAT. Maybe yours is something else. I would never sacrifice getting into my own shop just for looks anyways lol
