This is a no brainer. Sell the second truck unless of course you are a masochist.

I wouldn't know how to pay. I think percentage but some might not like that. Benefits I do not think I can afford. Would have to talk to the cpa about that. I am taking a risk buying this new truck but not that big of one. I paid cash and have no debt in my company. So I will be fine. The truck is a 2002 freightliner classic xl 12.7 detroit 13sp. It has almost 1.7mil on it but alot has been rebuilt on it in the last few years.

Hahaha. Well sometimes I.... that's a different subject... I would like to start building a fleet and both trucks are paid for. Risk vs reward.....

I was not talking about hiring a stranger from an application. I was talking about hiring someone you have known very well, for a whole lot of years!

All fun and games until someone gets fired.

Hiring friends is completely a 50/50 shot.

Big Don and shanman Thank this.

Of the people that I know like that they are all happily employed. And I've done the give a friend a job thing. Won't do that again. Even when they are real good workers I think something changes when their friend is their boss.

    Big Don Thanks this.

Sell it and keep cash in hands for unexpected, or keep it around as a spare if its not worth much.I feel like its tough enough for an o/o with a paid off truck, why deal with all that. You could sell it with work, and broker the old truck.Probably make the same money, less liability and some cash in your hands.
