I don't have any personal experience with this, but the graybeards around here talk about the "odd numbers rule." ie. 1 truck you'll do good, 2 trucks will break you, 3 trucks you'll do fine.
-
when i was up in Cleveland I was talking to a guy that owns / drives out of Cleveland. Forgot the name but he pays .49 mile and can't find 2 drivers.
-
It doesn't make sense to me about two you go broke and on three you not help me understand that.
-
There isn't an exact science. One you can do all, two isn't enough money for you to take all the risks, a third makes enough for you to take care of everything else and have a couple drivers, and make a few $.Never gonna be super, but a little better than just one.
-
Just keep it, it can be your lucky spare.
Camelclutch Thanks this. -
I put a driver in my new truck and kept driving the old one myself. Will be looking for a third after the first of the first of the year if the economy doesn't do a complete nosedive.

What could you sell it for 15k 10k ??? I would keep it till catastrophic failure.
