I am looking to buy a truck with below specs. Need opinion if the price is good and if I should be concerned with the rust on the truck.
    It's a 2000 KW T2000 with 1.3m miles. Engine rebuilt at 750k. 13speed with a 3406E CAT engine. Seller wants $12000.

Hi kabusheke, I can't see the rest of the truck, but a maroon KW like that with a Wis. plate indicates, it's probably an old Millis truck.( or a Karl's truck, which may have been bought from Millis) And that many miles, would probably confirm that fact. Not that that's a bad thing, as Millis takes pretty good care of their equipment, but even they know when to get rid of a truck. Since just about everything has been replaced (at least once) the problem with older trucks is the electrical system. It's just a spaghetti bowl of wires under the dash, and many things probably don't work right now. Not sure what you are going to do with it. Be ok for a local truck, but I'd be leery taking that across country, although, I'm sure many do. If you aren't mechanically inclined, electrical issues can break the bank. Still not a bad deal. Good luck.

That does look like an old Karl's truck to me. The Millis trucks are a bit darker in color. Karl's had a good reputation of upkeep, but I am sure that truck left their fleet a long time ago.

Am buying it from BSR as they are changing their fleet.
