My dh started with a trucking company on February 2 went through orientation and is on his 3rd load. Well he had a heart attack today lucky he was at home and not driving or sitting somewhere far from home. He is under a load that needs to be delivered the 17th at 1 pm and his company does allow him to stop home for breaks. My question is do I call his fleet manager or is there someone else I should call and talk to also will they fire him for this. Oh do you have to work for so long for short term disability. Thanks

Call his fleet manager. Your husband can not drive again until he passes a new DOT physical.

Sorry to hear this happen with your husband and I hope he gets better. I think the proper thing to do is call the company and tell them what happened. Sure he might lose his job but you still have your husband with you.

Dont worry about the load. If the trucks at your house get his personal affects out of the truck, including his log book before the companiy picks up the truck if you can. Let his DM worry about the load. You need to worry about your husband. Sorry to hear this, good luck and God Bless.
