Help me resolve front end wobble on the 06 Volvo VNL670 RH side wheel.

    Here is what Nextran Volvo said.

    "Found front rims(they said rims and not wheels) were out need to set wheels with spacer tools.
    Right rim bent and left rim wore out spaced rims and truck rides good but advised it need new rims in front."

    Truck is drivable now and still has some wobble on the RH side. Even tough Volvo claims that the LH side wheel is wore out it does NOT wobble.


    I will try different set of wheels on my truck once he gets back home, to eliminate the wheel tire problem.

    Did you see the old tires before the dealer swapped them and the shocks? If not, there is no telling what happened with those old tires. If there is a wobble, there is a problem and you're only going to eat steer tires not finding it. Is the front axle air ride? It sounds like this isn't your first rodeo, but front suspension is pretty simple in terms of finding the problem or problems. The previous owner may have hit a curb hard bending a rim, or maybe he drove around with loose lugnuts. Nobody knows. I'll bet you find a bad rim and a bad spring or airbag/leveler.

    No Air ride.


    Everything in suspension looks good and tight. Will try wheels first.

    Yes, me too! I kinda get sick and tired of trying to help people, spending my personal time here, for them to just show up, get the answer they need and then disappear.
