Honestly I think teaming with him would ruin our relationship... and his company already told me they only hire drivers w/ 3 years experience. I am waiting for a call back on getting it expunged... although I think I have to wait 3-5 years to be able to do it. Worth a try though!

C.R. England person i talked to said misdemeanor has to be 10 years old... Other ones that it was a discqualifier for said at least 3 years old.

So none of those companies will take you huh.Reason being is becase of that misdameanor. So suppose you do find a school, how you going to pay for it if no companies will hire you once you finish school?I would sugest getting prehire from a company before attending school.
-
Why don't you just use your GI Bill to pay for the training and then go to whatever company you want after that. It will be easier to get hired after you have the CDL.

So many people attend a trucking school in hopes they find a job because the school recruiter says they help you find a job.Well what the school does'nt tell you is students with felonies may have a tough time finding a company that'll hire you.So then that leaves the student with a CDL that is worthless and an outstanding school loan to pay.Anybody who is considering attending a school, plz look into companies to get prehired first then at least you have that to look forward to .
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
You'll never be accepted into any company sponsored training program with a drug related misdemeanor less than 3 years old. Stop wasting your time even considering it. Move on with your life.

Thanks to all that helped and if anyone is having similar problems try contacting anyone you trust who already is in the business. I'm going to an interview tomorrow with my friend's company who is willing to sponsor me!
