[Help] Peterbilt's glue for steel

    Hi!
    I'm new

    I've saw at discovery channel "How Do They Do It?", a documentary about assembly of Peterbilt trucks.
    In this video, i've saw the Peterbilt industries use a glue for paste the steel.
    It's extremely resistant.
    You know the name of this glue? Or a similar product?

    Hernon Mfg. out of Florida has some contracts with Paccar(pete/kw).They make a wide range of adhesives.Also Ashland Speciality Chemical out of Ohio was a supplier for awhile.If you really need to find about what was used,call the Peterbilt headquarters in Denton,Texas.I doubt it's a trade secret.

    I have been to my local Pete dealer a lot lately, asking question about my Gran-dads old Pete, and they are very willing to give me an answer to all the questions I have asked... So try yours as they might know the answer to your question.

    Then I suggest you go to your local DAF dealer, They are owned by Paccar inc. which also makes The American Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks...I believe they sell DAF trucks in Italy... Good luck!
