If it is more than three years old some companies will take you. When it is five years old many will take you and at ten years even more. -

My last DUI was 10 years ago. I have a perfectlly clean driving for the last 10 years. Doesn't that count for something?

Most of my reseach has found that most companies state that a DUI has to be 5 years old or longer.

I think that is a "norm" for the industry. It can range from 3 - 10 years and some won't allow any at all. Many companies also state one DUI/DWI in a lifetime.
I'm not without fault, so I'm not trying to beat you up. Just offering some facts. Many states now have mandatory prison time for three DUI/DWI offenses. -
I know Texas if you get 3 it turns into a felony. seen people on felony probation for 3 DUI's
