I recently signed up for a trucking school here in michigan, i didn't have to pay a dime because i was supposed to work for C.R. England once i graduate and they will pay for everything( sponsored cdl). I had some family problems and i had to leave after spending only two days in class.
Do you think i will owe them anything by leaving the school? If yes, can you give me an estimate? Because i keep calling them and they seem unhappy and no willing to discuss anything.
Thanks.
Help please.

Did you sign a contract? If so, you may be on the hook for several thousand Bucks -

Good chance you'll owe them approximately $10 million dollars... why ask here? Check the paperwork you signed, check with your recruiter. Did you inform them before leaving school? They may have been okay with it and delayed you till the next session.
rambler and passingthru69 Thank this. -
Wow. Does no one actually read the contract they sign?
The contract will specify penalties, but don't be surprised if you owe for the whole class. After all they could not fill the seat you were in now as anyone will be behind.
One thing to remember though, is it's just a loan. Worst case is wage garnishment and credit hit. Even that tends to take years to catch up with you.EZ Money, TripleSix and Toomanybikes Thank this. -
If they're not returning your calls or bugging you for immediate payment, I'd say you're probably in the clear and don't need to worry about it and you may have dodged a bullet. But with the way these companies collude and scheme up ways to "make money", I would not put anything past either of them.
