    just graduated from a certifed ptdi 390 hr course in nov. i have my cdl-a with hazmat,tanker and passenger endorsements am looking for otr job.so far no luck. i have 3 misdemeanor offenses from 2000 and was off work for almost 2 years on ssi disability from a non work related injury that happen in 1999 and required surgery.any advise or help on what or where to look for work greatly appreciated.thanks willing to run long miles and stay otr for 4 weeks at a time if needed prefer solo

    Try all the starter companies, from Celadon all the way down to Western Express, check out the Company DAC report section of the forums and visit each of the sites, fill out an application and make a call to them with in a few days to see where your application stands. I know Werner may hire you even though they aren't the best company but if they are willing to give you a job to get experience I'd take it. Good luck!

    Hmm, suprised at that. If you can deal with team driving try CRST they are hiring they only do team driving so if you have a friend with a CDL thats a good route to go. If not you may have to wait until after new years to start looking just as I may have to do.

    thanks appreciate the advise and really consider the crst thing just do not want to team drive 4 a year getting exp so can go solo elsewhere.
