Hello, I didn't think I would need my CDL, so I let the medical expire in December, and my license got converted here in Califronia back to regular Class C.
My license expires in August 2023. However just this week I learned of an amazing opportunity driving students at UCLA (for complicated reasons having to due with pension benefits, it's a great opportunity for me) and I will need my CDL with passenger and airbrake back in order to get hired. (I briefly drove CDL bus for OCTA and LA Metro in 2019 and 2021.
Would GREATLY appreciative any advice on steps I need to take to get CDL back. Thanks Again.
PS: I am aware the governt moraroriums on expired Medicals has ended.
Thanks so much in advance.

Call your DMV. You should be able to get a new physical, then get your CDL restored, even in Commiefornia.
