Help Truckers. I need a job and Im unemployed, please tell me about the industry

i live in michigan also, and i am unemployed in the same situation that you are. I have been working with the integrity truck driving school here in auburn hills, and they are not a truck driving company that hire driver, they are a training school, don't believe 98% of the stuff that they tell you there. The school here charged me 4595.00.

I went through the no worker left behind program and had them pay the money for the course, granhome just approved 2 million dollars for the program in december. That away i have no contracts with the trucking companies that recruit through them. I got all my pre-hires from the companies of my choice.

Look into this program through the michigan works office in you area, and be prepared to wait and wait, it took me almost 5 months to finish the process, b/c my case manager and the coordinator at the school had a personal problem with each other trying to tell each other there job.
