Help with a bay area job

    Hello guys I just recently received myclass A cdl and need experience I have hazmat doubles\triples and tanker endorsement. I was wondering if anyone has any idea if there are any bay area or Sacramento based companies willing to hire new drivers I live in Napa so anywhere with a reasonable comute is fine aswell. I have other responsibilities and would prefer a place offering a local driver position. I am willing to work any hours and work for minimal pay I just want experience. If anyone has a suggestion on where to apply the help would be much appreciated . thanks for your time!

    kkwtrucks dot com might hire you. Not many places locally hire non experienced drivers. Also button trans out of dixon might. You have to take what you can if local is all you can do. Try it, you never know.

    Why not just go over the road and get the experience. You may think you're a good driver but local gets hairy for people who don't have experience. And on top of that you'll get a great local job where you're going to feel as if you're getting paid close to what you think you're worth rather than making someone else money while you break your self for 600/week.

    I have some different plans that I require a class A for at a later date this is just to get me by until then. I never planned on going over the road it doesn't fit too well with my life at the moment maybe if things change I could swing that, but until then I gotta do what I can.

    Oak harbor will hire you right now. They are hard up for any drivers. Just make your resume look professional and you've got the job. When I say pro hire someone that knows resumes that is money well spent.
