Hi,
I just purchased a 2007 International 9400i, and 1 of the 4 batteries has went dead according to a friend that drives. The specs of the battery is 650 CCA, 180 RC, 31 BC, 12 volts. My question is when i replace this one battery does it have to have the same specs as above or could the CCA, and RC be higher? Ive been looking online for a battery but i cannot find one for my rig with the same specs.
Help with Battery.

Gotta be the same
What are the condition of the other batteries? Are they sealed (maintenance free) or can you check the water level? If the other 3 are weak, you might want to consider changing all 4. And possibly upping the CCA rating to at least 850. 1000 CCA would be better. Truck pro, fleetpride and the like have decent prices on decent batteriesMarco22 Thanks this. -
Okay, Thanks for your help

I usually change all four batteries at the same time. I use either 920 or 1000 cca batteries?? Don't remember for sure. But they are all the same.
My truck will start with 2 batteries in the summer, need 3 in the beginning of the cold weather and gotta have 4 come January for the cold start in winter. Just sayin if you need a little time to save or need time to shop for the best price. Good luck. -

Yes you can. The batteries work together and work to the performance of the lowest one.
I don't know how they work. I don't know how my computer works either but I can use it.
The batteries will all have 12 volts, it is the amps that change and not sure how that affects the others when connected.Dominick253 Thanks this. -

Gonna head to TruckPro tomorrow morning. From your experience would you get a battery from NAPA/Autozone for your truck? -
As long as you have a good warranty, any good shop, store will be ok. Napa, truck pro, good. Try O'Reilly's. They can get truck parts too.
Up until I got this last set at a truckstop, I've been dealing with fleetpride. They have/had a 1000 CCA battery for $80.
Something to check, how are the cable ends? If the cables ends are just crimped on metal, take a wire brush, or wheel, and clean it up rally good. You'll be fine. If they are the kind with the plastic encapsulation, really go over the end with a fine tooth comb. That will be almost more important than the battery itself.
