You must send off for a copy of your dac (now under another name) report, dispute everything you feel is wrong, use your log book to prove all info are lies, you can be back to work in a few days if your driving record is looking clean?

Just go to http://www.hireright.com/background-check-faq/answers/requesting-a-free-copy-of-your-background-report-file and request your free copy of your DAC report.

Once you have it and can see the details they are reporting you can then go to http://www.hireright.com/background-check-faq/answers/dispute-the-accuracy-or-completeness-of-your-background-report-file and fill out the Dispute form.

    baha Thanks this.

No, that’s ridiculous. Why would there even be a dispute form if regardless of what is found it remains on your report?

Hireright only knows what is reported to them by an employer or by you. They just record what is reported to them and if it is deputed they investigate it and ether confirm the item or remove it. Make sure you give some sort of proof you were not even in the same State when you fill out the dispute form, the more details you give the more likely Hireright will find in your favor.

While it is in dispute, Hireright will not report the disputed item until they have finished investigating it. They will ask CR England to confirm what they reported and for details, if CR England does not respond or if they find your information more creditable it will be permanently removed.

There is no guarantee that disputing it will have it removed but I will guarantee tht if you don’t file a dispute it will stay on your DAC report.

That is normal, a DAC report is intended for one employer to let another employer know about incidents that happen on private property and are not covered on a MVR. If all it contained were items on a MVR there would be no point to having DAC report as employers would just pull the drivers MVR.

Many fine CO. do not look at those reports, if C R England insur. dept. had to pay any money out on acc. at scale lane you may have something that can not be removed?
