Can anyone tell me if the Burlington Bristol Bridge, Rt 413 Pa/NJ, is open to commercial vehicles. Having a hard time finding info when searching web. Thanks![]()

Many aren't highlighted as a truck route so I could see where someone would have some doubt. Plus that one is in the northern end of a populated area which is the same color as the highlighted truck route. You couldn't see it if you wanted to.
I learned a long time ago it's just best to stay on the main drag when crossing into or out of Jersey. There is no dodging Delaware River tolls. All you get is a narrower bridge and sometimes higher tolls.
Unless you are running Burlington to Bristol I would use I-276. I use to pick up in Burlington regularly when I first started trucking. That prehistoric draw bridge is about 20 foot wide but anything can cross it.Mardet Thanks this. -
or just do what many of us have done. get one of those maps that do not have ny and nj pages in them lol

Yes a truck can cross it but it is pretty narrow. It also has a 36 ton weight limit. So if your grossed out be careful. I live about 2 miles from it and I cross it at least once a day in a truck and a car I've never seen them bothering big trucks. Knock on wood because I'm going across it in about 5 minutes. There's also the turnpike connector bridge about 3 miles north of it. It's actually cheaper but the Pa cash box is a very popular DOT hangout.

Last time I went across it I saw a sign that said no 102" trailers so I don't use it no more. I know a lot of people do. The last freight company I worked for told us to but none of us did because of the 102 ban plus the extra time to go down to the Betsy Ross and back up.
