Hoping someone can help me. I applied with Schneider a couple of weeks ago. I have not heard from them. I have a perfect back ground and driving record. I have a CDL class B and would need their school. I tried to call them several times but I just get looped around on their phone system. How can I contact someone at Schneider? I will be available in July and was hoping I could get everything in order by then.

Last I talked with Schneider, they weren't processing applications w/o a CDL A....
The gal I chatted with (10 days ago?) said those apps were just trashed and that the Schneider trucking school wasn't taking students...
Dunno if it's true, just her explanation to my query two weeks ago..
My experience is that things change quickly and sometimes nobody knows what's going on....
Good luck in your search ...... -
I talked to a friend the other day who said he saw on the news(he is a news junkie) that the pumpkin was closing their doors at 5 bucks a gallon, I don't know anymore than that, but if they stopped takin aps???????????????

He's right. E-mail them if you haven't already. Continue to call and stay on top of things. I know they are taking students at their Dallas location. Hope this helps

They're taking them in Denver, too. I called this morning to confirm that they'd received my application - and I asked specifically if they were hiring from schools here - they said "yes"

Wow. sometimes them news junkies can run into the info. Actual fuel should be $6.00 a gal now. Last summer oil was $60.00 a barrel and gas was $3.00 a gal. At $120.00 a barrel gas should be $6.00 a gal., yet it's only $3.50 now. My take is that the population would panic if the gas price now moved with the huge move in oil. Somethings fishey. I'm guessing that the people in power r holding the price back on gas to prevent a panic, and or a screcthing halt to our economy. It would be to expensive to move some products.
The slow steady move in fuel, we r experiancing now, will take us to, over $6.00 a gal. So it seems, if your friend is right, Schneider will be closing up. No matter how u look at it it seems things will be getting worse even if oil pull's back to $100.00 a barrel gas would still be around $5.00 a gal. -
It might a good thing that you havent heard from them yet.
