Apply for the michilin advantage program on thier website. you get a national account price. if you switch to super singles there is an additional discount/rebate of about $1000.

I would go for recaps even though they are way up there in price. Almost worth buying virgins.

The advantage program is not a credit line. it gets you a better price on good tires.

if you need credit to buy tires maybe you should stop hauling cheap freight, eh?

Peel 1 cap and what do you save?

I don't know where your at in NE, but check service tire, when they have a Saale they are hard to beat on price. My dad just bought michelins for 500 a pop, only $25 more than I paid for BFGs.

    VIAJERO1A Thanks this.

$35 for an ooida card. They're cheaper than the Michelin advantage program. The XDA3 drive tires is 563ish if I remember right. 7 year 700k tread warranty. When the treat wears down they'll cap it. I believe they cap them 3 times. When you can get 24 tires for the price of 8+8 caps I'd go that route. XZA steers were like 1200ish same warranty. If you run the same size steer as your trailer tires when the steer is capped move it back to the trailer. Easy way to save a ton of money. That's my opinion on the matter. Total cost of ownership is a lot cheaper than buying virgins each time or even a cheap virgin. I have china drives on my tractor right now I'd take a Michelin cap over those roadmaster virgins worthless cooper crap!
