Need advice on options I have to secure job. April of 2019 I was applying for companies that provided cdl training. I was in talks with Prime and long story short failed drug test. Had permit but no license. Fast forward to now I got cdl’s n oct and been applying for jobs had 2 lined up but prime is reporting I failed drug test so both companies denied moving forward. My question would be is there any way around there this when applying for jobs I mean I didn’t have a license at the time or do you think I can contact prime. I’m stuck need help

I know a person that went to rehab and was checked weekly for drugs for the next year. Since they had a weekly baseline they could tell if any drugs were taken over the course of the week. The reason that was important was she tested positive for marijuana for about 9 months. Not everyone's systems clear out in a month. Get yourself tested BEFORE you go in for another official drug test. And of course quit doing drugs.

You must complete a SAP program before a DOT regulated trucking company is allowed to hire you.
Google: DOT SAP Program (your state)

Glad I have a sense of humor but I would appreciate answers that would help although the quit drugs was true again this was over a year ago and it was just marijuana and I’ve definitely stopped since then

since you are into drugs i suggest dealing them, there is more money in them than trucking and lets face it the crap we haul on these trucks is no better,so there shouldn't be an ethics or moral issue, just a legal issue, which has been ingrained into the minds of sheep that we are any better than drug dealers. i refer to the 40k lbs of prescription meds i hauled into a cvs warehouse. i was nothing more than a legal drug dealer. but i guess an idiot could believe i was helping people so who knows.
