Drivers with less than 12 months of recent experience or no driving experience are considered Trainees.

    – Every Trainee must attend 4 days of orientation which pays $500 when completed.

    – During the 4 weeks of training, Trainees are paid $800 per week or $114.29 per day. (Trainers are paid their regular mileage).

    – During training, the Trainee does 90% of the driving and planning, while the Trainer is there to advise. Team driving is not allowed. Trainer and Trainee maintain the same 14-hour clock.

    – After 4 weeks of training, Trainees will be issued their own truck and wages will begin at 45 CPM. By the time they reach their one-year anniversary, they will be making 51 CPM.

Sorry dude, my insurance companies I use are zero tolerance now with distracted driving, and they are telling me and other owners to terminate drivers if there is a violation.

Seems most violent wrecks with trucks are caused by distracted driving; usually by phone or watching videos while driving.

Cruise ship work looks awesome! Just act like a Walmart door greeter a few hours a day and then hit the buffet and pool. Right?
