Don't take my word for it. They have horrible reviews on glassdoor too. Most reviews of people not getting paid. The higher-ups don't care what the locals are doing so the terminals are quickly becoming Zoo's filled with favoritism and I don't cares. Good drivers have been lost due to these attitudes and more will follow. There are plenty of tanker companies that actually get your paycheck to you on time. Those companies will even pay you for your layovers instead of forgetting them and then saying well you didn't ask if you could layover. That's not all and not to beat a broken drum cause Heniff is very broken at the moment and until they clean house of their under-educated and under-train lower bosses and the higher up start acting like higher-ups then not much will change. And I am aware that the investment firm has many investments but, why would you want one that is clearly doomed. Guess it will just be broken down and sold later like so many other trucking companies that have been bought and doomed by investment. firms. Our jobs are hard and there are plenty of companies that will respect what we do. Don't give your life away to one that doesn't respect you and doesn't pay you on time.

Such a shame they bought out Superior Carriers. Talked to many drivers when it was still Superior and they loved working there. Now I talk to former superior drivers who all say they quit a few weeks after Heniff took over for these same reasons

It really is sad. Superior was a good company. It's ashamed it was sold like that. Even worse it was sold to a company that already had a bad name and bad reviews. The terminals and local leadership for them are mostly a mess. Most of the good people quit. The ones that remain are thinking about quitting. I have already left but, I constantly hear the pain from my former comrades. I'm sorely disappointed.

As I read this post and comments, not only Heniff is accused of "playing with employees wages", this type of allegation is lodged too many times against trucking companies. We do not hear say, an employee of a factory making this type of charges. Why?? Are certain trucking companies exempt from the laws that protect employees? Why don't we see these "criminals" being prosecuted, But without starting a pro and con discussion on unions, I will say this, every time I read about this type of "abuse", it is a non-union company doing it.
Let me add something, I have not heard this from an LTL freight company, it is always coming from an employee of an LT carrier.Last edited: Jan 20, 2022
Still undecided, Gearjammin' Penguin and Maverick68 Thank this. -
I really didnt have maany payroll problems. A few times demurrge orbreakdown did not make it on check, but that got straightened out quickly.
It was a better company when it was smaller. But company mission was always to become the biggest.....
But not the best -
I worked in retail/grocery for about 8 years, and then healthcare for about 15 years, prior to becoming a truck driver. No one was ever expected to work without pay, nor were they expected to work anywhere near 70 hours per week. Not once did a paycheck of mine bounce. This industry keeps amazing me. Unreal.Still undecided, bigblue19, Grouch and 2 others Thank this.

Because too many people want to do nothing but cry on internet forums instead of reporting this stuff to the agencies charged with enforcing the law.drvrtech77, TB John, Grouch and 2 others Thank this.

Even the ones who are trying to report things get frustrated. Have you tried going through the telephone tree at any state or federal agency lately?
Sent an email that you never heard back on? For a real exercise in futility send an email about the phone tree.
I think they make it over-complicated so people will get discouraged and go away.Rctruck87, kemosabi49, Sirscrapntruckalot and 2 others Thank this. -
He's not wrong. But if you really want results, use the method of "If at first you don't succeed, keep on bugging the crap out of them until they'll do anything to shut you the F up."cuzzin it, drvrtech77, TB John and 1 other person Thank this.
