I feel like a dope sometimes too. If I get somewhere with this medical malpractice thing, I might just go to law school myself. I will have a passion for anyone who is "diagnosed" with this hocus pocus diagnosis method some of these doctors I think have used with me. Any of those books your wife has about fistulas and causes of fistulas?
Yah, unfortunately she finally got it. I can’t go home until she’s completely over it because it’ll probably kill me if I get it.
I am sorry to hear that, Concorde. I thought Covid was over with by now, but I guess not. I don't listen to a lot of radio or watch a lot of TV really, even when I am home. I can say this, my sense of smell is still messed up from the first time I got Covid. I thought I would end up dying from the medication I was on that suppressed my immune system when I got Covid, but I didn't. It actually wasn't all that bad. Losing the taste and smell was the crappiest parts of it. Other than that I just slept a lot.
I’ll ask her tomorrow about the books and get back to you. In all seriousness, some if not most Dr’s just use a computer program to generate a diagnosis. There’s a reason that they leave the exam room and come back a few minutes later, lol.
It’s still around but at a low level..few states like OK are having somewhat of an outbreak. Influenza is big right now in FL but starting to calm down..nothing out of the norm.
Precisely, and this particular "diagnosis" one doctor asked about before I ever even dropped my drawers. That got me to thinking, and I did find, that these doctors can just review whatever another doctor writes in your medical history or chart or whatever. I didn't know that before. Anyway, long story short, I have had two surgeries that did nothing to fix the hocus pocus diagnosis, just created more things for me to worry about. And an MRI that was ordered by a doctor who finally decided to order one, the findings I think support the original diagnosis from 2012 I got, that they kept ignoring insisting was this auto-immune or auto-inflammatory disorder. So, the original diagnosis of fistula (not plural, just one) the issue went from that one to so many that I am told I am going to have a lot of stuff removed now. Fistulas everywhere. With the doc who ordered the MRI insisting I have the other thing even still. All while saying "I don't know why your "disease" is making these fistulas the way it is.". Maybe because I don't have what you're saying I have? You got the evidence right there that says fistula, fistula, fistula, literally over two dozen times and still insisting its this other thing. The biggest kicker, is I had cancer, testicular cancer in 2004. Took the highest dose of radiation I could for two weeks to get it over with sooner rather than later. That is known to cause fistulas. And these dip's know about that in my medical history.
Okay, she just got back to me and recommended that you check you - tube. I guess there’s a ton of informative videos on there from MD’s.
No it’s not I’m sorry to say. I had it back in January and had to self isolate in my truck for about 5-6 days (started as scratchy throat, watery eyes and then 36 hours later I was feeling rundown and very fatigued). From that point I was staying hydrated, swilling Powerade,Gatorade, apple juice, orange juice, water and eating fruits(that’s all I was really in the mood for). My wife caught it last August right when we were preparing to travel to Illinois for my paternal grandmother‘s funeral, so she couldn’t go. I had to go by myself.
