I bet this idiot will blame GPS. Seems like that's the most popular scapegoat these days.

Maybe they’ll rebuild for 40 now that the trucking company will pay for it.

I think a fat woman would be too much for that bridge say nothing to a concrete mixer.

And the sun goes down on another successful recovery. Cost? We'll bill the boss, typically HD recovery is about $500/hr so take your time, boys. Don't you love the pot bellied crew eyeing up the situation. The truck looks relatively undamaged, and clearly empty or it would have been a much bigger task. I read, an empty mixer weighs about 24,000 lbs, and I bet this truck is no stranger to this bridge, been over it many times, saved 40 miles, you know. The 4 ton limit is partially hidden. The truck looks quite new, could be a new driver. Got a story for the grandkids someday.

The person (& the county building inspector) needing the concrete on the other side of that bridge is standing over there scratching his head: "I didn't consider the reality that a concrete truck would need to cross that bridge to pour concrete for my new [fill in the blank]. I forgot about that part."

Kinda like some of these places we have to go. They only consider the building & employee parking lot. "I forgot I was gonna need to get a truck in here!"

One of our local lumber mills is restructuring their dry lumber shipping area. New drying sheds, new kilns, new loading areas, 40 acres of new asphalt, new truck routing in and out within the mill...they're spending some big bucks .
The only thing they forgot was an access road from the highway to the mill. A truck driver pointed that out to them. They were just a little embarrassed.
