Flew to Dallas-Love this afternoon for orientation tomorrow in Rockwall with TransAm. I was picked up and driven to a real nice Best Western Hotel, complements of the company. I'll let you know how things go tomorrow. But so far so good.:biggrin_2556:

I also wish you good luck. Did the orientation at Rockwall myself. Seems like a lifetime ago tho.

If you turn out to have a crapola trainer, and are not sure what to do when you go solo. Will be happy to give you my number and help you out as best I can. Do read their policy manual and understand all concerning pay.

Do realize, that you'll now have to make a choice that will all be on you according to TA. On all load info now, it will state that drivers are required to be on dock during unloading or loading. They do NOT pay for this time, so you'll have to decide whether to log it, as should be done, or not, so that you can save your hrs, or not go on the dock at all and face a problem down the line.

    123456 and bcso809 Thank this.

Things were as expected today, took a piss test this morning and a simple road test later on. I absolutly LOVE the trucks! The automatics are incredible! Today was a lot of boring paperwork and videos. I'm impressed so far, very nice trucks, very nice hotel. Could have lived without the powdered eggs, but they did order enough pizza for each or us to almost have our own. So far so good.
