All the companies my father worked for never had a fridge in their truck. That's why I'm a little surprised that more companies seem to have them in company trucks.

Well TA leases all there trks to O/O specs since they really push the lease deal. Us company drivers benefit from that after each trk has been thru, who knows , how many L/O's who have failed. Trk I'm currently in only has186000 miles.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've just been struggling to survive out here. First week on my own: 3246 miles=$316.37. Second week went home: 1407 miles $-267.41. Third week, finished my last trip on Friday so most of my miles continued to the next week: 1574 miles= $-285.91. With the roll over milage, this week should be about 4500 miles. Can't wait to see what the translates into. I called at the end of week one to see why my pay was so low for 3200 miles and was told that I must have used too much fuel. I went to Rockwall knowing that there was no way they were going to talk me into leasing. Well, I am the biggest ####### in the world because here I sit in my leased truck. Anyone thinking of Transam, PLEASE DON'T BE A #######! The only thing I've paid in the last month has been their truck payment. Don't know how much longer I can continue like this.

Thank you for the comments. Like you, Kinghunter, I hate to give up on things that I start. However, in this case I'm starting to agree with 123456. Sometimes you just have to say "enough is enough". If things continue on like this I'll bring my whole family down with me. This is the only job I've ever had that actually cost me money. I just hope that someone will learn from my mistake. Always go with your gut, if it sounds to good to be true, there's probably a good reason why.

What kind of answers is TA coming back at you with?
Personally, I would not go any further until you get an acceptable group of answers from them. If they cannot provide you information to your satisfaction, don't get in any deeper. I have a friend that did the TA thing just like you. He left after like 3 weeks. There's plenty of other opportunities out there!
