Link to obesity is people sitting at the tube and pc.

I mean Holy Jesus Christ, I remember about 20 years ago when the billboards starting popping up telling children to go out and play for at least an hour a day.

Does anyone need more of a wake up call than that to know our society is seriously F/U??????

I remember when a lot of restaurants would have signs posted.

NO MSG OR NO ADDED MSG.

I couldn’t wait to get home. I’ve been on a hot dog binge the last week or so.

I live in a mid-size city in the south. You NEVER see any kids outside playing or riding bikes. In fact, if you were to spend a week there, and didn’t go to Walmart or McDonald’s, you’d swear there weren’t any kids in that town.

When we first moved there, I took a job at Walmart as an assembler... bikes, grills, patio furniture and stuff. We sold a mega ####-ton of bikes at Christmas but other than the occasional drunk with ten DUI’s, you never saw a kid on one.

I can’t wait to see what ten more years of technology brings.

Yes. I'm 53. When we were kids, you went full speed everywhere, every chance you got, until the street lights came on.

When I saw that first billboard telling children they need to play, I thought we are past the point of no return now.

    Yeah things have certainly changed.
I remember when I got my first new bike for Christmas . A beautiful blue Schwinn Stingray with a banana seat and a two speed rear end.
Back then we rode everywhere all day everyday.

Our habits are not the same as 50 or so years ago for sure. But our food quality has gone down hill as well.
