Hey i have Volvo 2013 D13 and have SPN 3216 FMI 12 code

two things go thru that injector and that is def and coolant separate from each other there is another injector for fuel and they do not put coolant thru it anymore, there is very little way coolant can get in thedpf and when it does it plugs it up doesn't make it break

 

So now there are 8 injectors?

 

In concept, yes. (6) engine fuel injectors (1) aftertreatment fuel injector (1) DEF injector, but most everyone recognizes this as a "doser" by name.

 

Got the same as OP got replaced both sensors still same code

 

My Volvo dealer told me they don't clean dpf for the D13... where are you guys getting this done?

What’s your location?? When I do it next time I’ll go with a shop that has a machine in their shop and not the one that send it out elsewhere, and mark your filters if they send them out, if they bake the filter after it’s hard to read those part numbers and serial #s

 

Hey did anybody ever figure this code out? I have the code except fmi 18. Replaced both nox sensors and did regen and code is still on.
