You'll find that your time driving bus will serve you well. It's not the same, but many aspects are simular. Good luck, amigo.

One thing is for sure. I've had to deal with distracted driving (50-70 distractions at a time:biggrin_2559:) and driving as safely as possible, even with the distractions. As long as freight knows how to behave, I'll be ok. :biggrin_25523:

Go Get'um Oldnewbee. You're gonna be just fine. Just set your sights about 3 feet below acceptable when dealing with the recruiters and you will do fine. By the way if you need any unasked for advice just send me a PM. I'll be glad to give it my best shot. Good Luck and keep us posted.

:smt019You got that right, Limbswinger! I feel like I've been doin' this for years and I haven't even rolled the first curb yet. I already hate 4-wheelers, DOT, other wannabes, newbies, billybigriggers, truckstop trollops, cut-off sweat pants, idling laws, CALIFORNIA, recruiters, dispatchers, shippers, receivers, CDL mills, truck stop lawyers, etc. Naaaaah, I don't hate those things....but I'm workin' on it!!!:biggrin_2559:
