This is what I've been waiting to hear! Glad you finally decided to do it. I think you are gonna have a whole lot more "luck" than a lot of "newbs" just because of your attitude and life experiences.

I also will be interested in seeing how things go. And how long it takes you to realize that you will NEVER go back to hauling "live loads." Particularly juvenile live loads!

If you're going to miss driving the little kiddies, with all that movement back there, you may try hauling swinging meat. Doing that makes life interesting.

 

There have been some GREAT truck drivers that started out as school bus drivers. Like ME for instance!!

 

I don't know how you could stand driving around a bunch of kids... I work in a school and coached last year. Man, I could not stand riding with them. I can't wait to change my career choice!
