    Hey guys, how are you? I have a friend who has a 99 Volvo with a series 60 Detroit in it. He has had this truck for many years, way before the ELD’s came out. My question is, do you guys know of any good dry van companies who will take a truck this old? Thank you all!

    Thank you guys! I told him I would ask on here for him. We’re in the Columbus, Ohio area I forgot to mention that. He was wanting to drive again, but wasn’t having any luck so he was thinking about selling it. I will let him know. Thank you again!

    Maybe he should just sell the old truck and be a company driver.
    Ohio is loaded with decent companies that will hire him.

    Yeah, I'm hardheaded also, but always kept my eye on the goal and how to get there.
    Old age comes around quickly and no turning back to fix mistakes.

    Amen! I am too lol, but I was a O/O. It can be a nightmare. I owned mine when diesel was 4.00 plus a gallon! IFTA, insurance, fuel, breakdowns, etc... nothing is cheap on a semi.

    He can hire on with a union outfit and be vested for a pension in 5 years.
    Lots of union outfits in Ohio.
