To start off I put the word fellow in quotes because I have not yet started my trucking journey. I have recently graduated from a trucking school called 160 driving academy and am very eager to start my journey in this industry. I have no wife or kids, and the only thing I worry about is how to keep my mom and dad afloat in their house in orange county. My initial plan was to go get my doubles-triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements as soon as my physical copy of my license comes in the mail, and then I will go and apply. But I have found myself already applying to places such as Schneider, swift, and Western express. Only to find reviews on Google about how (mainly western) some companies will tell you what you want to hear just to get you locked into a position(should I trust the bulk of these reviews? Or are they just scorn people?). As for my wants out of a company, I don't think they are unreasonable.
I am looking for a company who hires new drivers, with paid for orientation. If I have to travel more than a 150 miles, some reimbursement of travel would be nice but I don't bank on that. A decent starting rate after orientation is complete, of which I have no idea what it would be. But I would venture to say that my work ethic alone is worth 1250$ a week starting out. Which isn't unreasonable I think. Equates to 60k a year. I have about 3 years driving a 26' box truck for a moving company, even though I know that doesn't mean squat for me in this moment. I want to work the max amount I can weekly/daily and I don't mind being out on the road for days, weeks, even months at a time. At this point in my life I just want to grind for that mula and help my parents pay off their house so they can retire with no mortgage payment. I don't mind working harder/longer than the next guy or gal if my efforts don't go unnoticed, I know that it illegal to work/drive longer than 14/11 hours so I'm just talking figuratively. The only thing Im actually nervous about is driving in snowy/icy conditions. I have little experience driving in snow (the 5 times I went to big bear or mammoth) and that's in a 2000 lb vehicle, not an 80,000 lb monster. I just want to know what company everyone thinks would be a good start for me.

Anyways. That's my story and I was just hoping I could get some guidance from the people that have done it for years. Any input is greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing what everyone has to say.

    Honorable to help your parents.
Maybe a union job with Yellow Freight.
    You'll need all the endorsements.
Google search (YRC Freight, Orange County, CA) shows there's 4 Yellow Freight terminals in Orange County, CA

This one shows 1 yr. experience needed, but a couple drivers on this forum were hired right out of cdl school. Don't remember which state they live in though.
