Hell no I wish I was paid something. I tried to not take the trailer but it was the only one left or else I would have had to drive an hour down the road to pick up from another place.

I think they use to pay something a while back but drivers took advantage of it and they stopped.

Another advantage to pulling the same trailer all the time.

Drop and hooks aren't all they're cracked up to be.......

I really can not believe this. Swift is a very good company to work for and has an outstanding employees. I think someone else put their trash in there. Just to make Swift look bad. They only hire the best of the trucking industry.

I may not be sure but I remember that if the trailer was not cleaned out by the last person they charged that driver $25

I can tolerate the occasional dirty trailer. What I can NOT put up with is some numbnutz dropping a trailer with an obvious mechanical problem at one of our yards that has a full shop, but does not tell anyone about it, including the shop!

Cottonton is EXACTLY the shipper I was thinking about. Do not, do not go in there with anything less than pristine. There's one inspector there that absolutely hates Swift.

Surely a swifty would not do such a thing . Must have had his helmet on to tight.

yeah the wind sweeps mine. Sometimes though I need to take a broom to it.

Sidenote, any chance this helmet thing can be cracked down on a bit. Gotta hear it enough on the cb, be nice to not have to read it as well on this forum.
