Seriously? We have way too many drivers who forget about customer service. Without shippers and receivers, we don't have jobs. Now, I'm not saying I'm perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But! I do everything I can to leave a trailer that is passably clean. We haul food in these trailers, too.
If a trailer is in such bad shape as described, take out the big stuff, run a broom over it enough to get the worst of it out and then get a PO number for a washout at the Beacon. I have done this before with Swift, I will do it again. There is absolutely no reason for you to damage your property and place your health at risk by cleaning out sharp objects.
Security in Houston does not care about dirty Swift trailers. It's not their job to care. But, you have a camera in that phone. Shoot some pictures of the mess, take it to your DM and request payment for your property and time. If your DM doesn't want to help, move on up the food chain.Rotten, BigShrek72, Ducks and 2 others Thank this. -
*whispers to bluebonn* it wasn't me. *quietly slips away before he blows up again*

If you feel like you have a reasonable request, or there is something that you have an issue with and your DM is not listening, go to the next person. Thats what they are there for. They arent there just to draw a check.inkeper, Injun, Tapeworm and 1 other person Thank this. -

I would not say they are afraid but UN aware of the next step to follow. -
Yea wait to I see the driver again! I just got to come up with a plan for him....
Picked up another one in Lancaster that was dirty but only took me 15 minutes to clean. I don't mind this at all. The ones that have the recycled paper all over are a pain...
The bad thing about the metal in the trailer was it was over 100 degrees that day so you can imagine how hot it was in the trailer.. But I got it clean and rolled on down the highway....
