would have been 100 miles shorter, and quicker. Did not know that Heyl had went to routing the trucks...used to be the driver picked the fuel stop themselves, so long as it was on the approved list.

For some reason they don't give the fuel solution until After you send the Loaded call. So sometimes trip planning while you have time to do it becomes wasted effort. I don't get why the fuel solution does not come with the load assignment.

Can't believe I'm Resetting in such hideous conditions. 60°, sunny, breezy, low humidity. ...It's practically unbearable. ......

After delivering in San Antonio I also picked up in San Antonio at the only customer so far that has a 1 hrs live load turnaround. Been there twice now and super quick both times which helps after the long off loads at both San Antonio area deliveries. Ran the pickup to the Zephyrhills yard and dropped with a pre plan to pick up in Lake Wales headed back out to Auburn, Washington. The drop and hook at Lake Wales was ready 10 hrs After I arrived. That complicated matters a bit. Running like a scalded dog, I Might be able to reach my property near Whitehall, Montana before the 0100 CT reset deadline so as to burn my 70 in 6 days and only lose the 1 day to reset. Arriving 1 minute after 0100 would kill 2 days so I would have to stop short of my property if I can't make the 0100. It is gonna be really, really close. On break at Love's in St. Joseph, Missouri. Can roll at 1645.

Camped at rest area a little east of Sturgis. Steady snow is coming down. If the roads are not too bad after my break I should be able to reach Whitehall before 0100 CT.
