It is just like the north east, in parking and mindset... they want their product, but they do not want the trucks.

Hey right around the corner my wife got a $150 parking ticket for making a left turn. Apparently the cop didn't think she was moving fast enough. Good Ol sumner.

At a shipper in Kennewick, Washington waiting to pickup load headed for Des Moines, Iowa.

At a T/S in Mitchell, South Dakota. I guess in the morning I will find out whether this load can be dropped at Akron or not. I would get to consignee mid afternoon tomorrow/Saturday but it doesn't deliver till Monday morning. Hoping I can drop it and roll on something that might keep me moving.

Hey xls, you are in my back yard there. I actually went to school 10 miles west of there in Mt Vernon. My parents and other relatives are still in the area there. You could also maybe drop your load in Sioux falls, it's only 45 minutes from Akron. Back in the mid 90's Heyl bought out quasar express which was in sf. I always wondered why they had Akron and Sioux Falls terminals so close together.
Weeble Kneeble and xlsdraw Thank this. -
Staged at the Pilot in Des Moines. I'm going to crunch some #s during this yet again very long wait to deliver. Definitely developing a Love/Hate relationship with this job. At the moment the pendulum has swung heavily back to hate.

I'm really surprised they didn't have you drop it on a yard.
xlsdraw Thanks this.
