I'm disappointed, applied at Heyl today and within two hours they email me this:

I had to wait almost 3 years before they would accept me. They require no more than 6 months of total unemployment in the most recent 36 months. I didn't have any verifiable employment in 2010. Perhaps they are as picky as their turnover rate allows. Sorry you didn't get accepted. I asked why they rejected me early on and they told me. Perhaps you can find out why as well.

Talked to dispatcher this afternoon. My truck is expected to be ready later today. I will grab truck in the morning and go pick up a load that is supposedly ready that delivers in Auburn, Washington Tuesday. Will at least get off to a running start.

good run, and you will hit the snow and cold for the weekend in the northern Rockies... Weather alerts are already being issued.

Up at 5 then hit Hickory NC for drop at MDI. 6-12 pallets break down each item, I've had 60 pallets at times on the floor, great workout too. Lol. Works out to $30 an hour if I hustle. 1 more stop in Hickory then Kings Mnt and hopefully I'm in Greenville by 2:30 last stop. If I'm in a good mood I'll drive through rush hour Atlanta to get to Carrelton for my morning Back haul back to Lakeland, but today I was stuck on I 85 and lost 45 min, so I'm chilling at Carnesville Fly J, rather get up early and cruise through Atlanta much easier.
Usually out of Carrelton by 9 and shut down at Wesley chapel Rest Stop. Up at 5 then head to Lakeland for 6 AM appt. , back in Sarasota by 10 and that's a wrap.
I've got a 2012 Cascadia 10 SPD w/ 48 ft trailer/ lift gate. Nice rig and my heaviest load is the back haul which might be 20k at the most. Not for everyone but I like it, delivering in Savannah can be tricky but I've figured which streets I can run without taking out the treesDon't want to say what I make but it's double than Conway or Heyl paid me..... Hope it lasts, of not I just talked to my buddy Jay is up to 8 trucks now in the ND oil patch. If u want I can hook u up, you would be pretty close to your other house in Montana... Just putting it out there.
