What good is the GPS when the dispatcher gets the address wrong but he gave me the right number.I have 2 different directions from map quest and ill call the cust in the morning.Does your dispatcher ever accidentally give you the wrong address?Im alittle nervous about the elogs and all the other info you have to put down but I have a cheat sheet.Ill study that tonight.

Well I took a road test in a real nice trk and a long road test. But my trk for now is a day cab which really I prefer.Today after Akron I get to Sioux City to meet my dispatcher Jason, another nice guy.Anyway he goes out to start my trk and guess what it doesn't start, lol. He called someone to come jump start it and sat around for awhile because the trk is going somewhere else after my shift.I left and he told me to call back at 5 to take trk to that location then he takes me back to plant 6 but im just too tired so I didn't call him.I don't think he'll be too mad.He was going to ask the guy whos jump starting it if he would drive it to that other place.

There are wires running into the cab for one. I have one at home from my Conway days. I haven't asked about having them put it in yet.

I guess the proper term is cables. Anyway, getting live offloaded at Safeway in Auburn. No word yet on what's next. Only have 13 hrs left on 70 and don't pickup anything til Friday so hopefully I can run today and then start a reset.

Here I am,my first day with Heyl.Im sitting at the terminal in Sioux Falls getting a pm done. They have a computer for the drivers to use which I like.So anyway I deliver to this furniture place, very tight backing.Had to 90 degree back into a no room for error dock.I did the GOAL thing every foot to make sure I wasnt going to hit the side walls;Surprisingly only took about 10 minutes.I just follpwed all the other tracks.Dont know how extended cabs can do it though.Anyway its one of those nothing going right days because im new and learning everything on my own,ELOGS was the simplest to catch on to.But all this paperwork thats the worst part far as im concerned to trucking

I heard Red takes drivers to lunch. Is it any driver at the terminal or just new drivers? I met Red briefly when I did a drop & hook as they were leaving for the day once and I spoke to him on the phone a couple times about the cow incident. Got offloaded by 10:00 this morning. I am at the Finley truck stop in Kennewick again. Pick up is a mile away and appt is 20:00 tomorrow night. The deadhead over here was 217 miles. Load delivers in San Antonio 06:00 Monday.

if you stay with refer, that is a normal deadhead for a load. You going to the place with the 45 degree angled docks?
