There is a pc mode on the Bluetree. I know you can't be under a load. Not exactly sure what their policy is.

On this episode of "As the Wheels Turn". Change of plans. I got to the terminal nice and early to get the keys from the shop manager so I can start changing trucks and he informs me that they are going to do my clutch replacement today and expect to complete it this afternoon. Hence, I don't have to change trucks. So the wife and I went and grabbed some breakfast and are camped back at the terminal under an Oak Tree. They did pull me in and do the 90 day review since I was here. A little early but who cares. I was going to head over to Tampa and apply for my TWIC but they recently dropped that requirement. The 1 ct I recently got was performance bonus and at my request they looked into the fuel mileage and idle % bonuses and determined I did qualify for the idle % bonus but not the fuel mileage. So that's 200.00 more from the 1st quarter I'll be getting. I found out how the referral and sign on bonuses get paid out. Referral is 250 after orientation and 500 after the new driver completes 90 days. Sign On is 250 at orientation, 250 at 90 days, 500 at 6 months, 500 at 1 year.
paul_4lp, double yellow and Dinomite Thank this. -
I called com data to see what my first weeks check was,$684.00.Now some of you may think that's not bad, well it is and here's why.I got paid a $250.00 bonus which is part of the $1500.00.Heyl pays the drivers 250 with their first check. Then I got reimbursed for 6 scale tickets,So that's $310.00.Which leaves me with what I actually made which is,$374.00 for 4 days and over 13 hrs a day.So how many of you think that's good money?I will be talking with Mr Heyl Monday if hes at the Akron terminal.

Patty what is their to talk about. You signed up to work local. If its not enough money. Get another job or Go OTR. I don't get folks who think these companies give a flying monkey doo doo about them. They don't care. Unless you are going to ask them for more work. You are just wasting your time. Go back to K&B or those other companies who pay local drivers big money. Heyl is not obviously one of them.
double yellow Thanks this. -
Hi Dinamo, read post 337 338,339 page 34.Then maybe you;ll see why the pay is such an issue.
-
I read those post and I was going to say something then, but I couldn't think of anything nice to say. If you don't like the job and they don't pay you what you want no matter what they are paying other people. Get to Step N. You are an employee not the employer. You Only been there a few weeks and you already making demands. Not cool. How much was you making when you didn't have a gig. So make it work or get another job. It's not all that hard. I just bet not hear you abandoned a day cab at the Loves in Sioux City
-
You like some others are coming up with your own assumptions.Im not making any demands.Im not asking for what the other drivers are making. All im asking for is a decent wage to pay my bills. If it weren't for my bills then yes I would get to step N.Say what you want because you're making good money I bet.Considering the low miles I drive and awhole lot of sitting,I should be receiving better pay. Most local companies pay drivers by the hr.Thank god for Ray helping me with my bills.I will be seeing whats in the paper for jobs tomorrow.Heyl as a company has great equipment and I do get along with my dispatcher. He knows im unhappy about the pay and he does understand.
