Operations couldn't get it moved up to Friday but they were able to move up to 03:15 Saturday. So I am limping down there resetting my schedule. Shut down at 19:21 CT tonight at Calvert City, Ky. Gonna shut down tomorrow at Jackson, GA early afternoon. Just staying with in the initial 8 hr clock. Ran in light rain most of the day. St Louis was a bit hairy thanks to the ignorance of both 4 wheelers and commercial drivers totally disregarding the conditions.

 

Camped at the Love's at Jasper, Florida. Felt froggy today so ran on down here. 625.1 today. Will be zero tomorrow unless I get lucky and someone passing through is low on hrs. I am ready to see mama and that new granddaughter.

 

Had to stay with this load. Get to deadhead to the Z-hills terminal after delivery. Have my reload already setup. Pick up Wednesday morning in Auburndale and deliver Saturday morning in Hopkins, Minnesota. This is the infamous Cow Load. Them ranchers better check them fences before I roll back through the Green Swamp.

 

Got home just before noon. Gonna see Granddaughters tomorrow.

Camped at the Jackson, GA Wilco. 447.5 today. Got to my truck this morning and found an oil leak. Shop took it and found and fixed a quarter inch long Crack near the drain plug. Barely made my appointment on time. But I did make it. Didn't want to waste a lot of time fighting Atlanta so I shut it down and will roll through there around 04:00. Home time was good. Fortunately the repair was minor.

 

Parked at the Marathon near Champagne, Illinois. 659.4 today. Not much to report today other than Crete is still leaving me messages trying to recruit me. They are up to .43 cpm now. They were at .41 cpm. I am continuing to pass.
