Heyl Journey with xlsdraw

My current/old truck is white. The new truck I'm supposed to get assigned to tomorrow will be black. Yes the combination of Heyl wanting my old truck kept close by until after the holiday equated to very few miles/income for the driver. They are going to pay 1 day of layover pay.

 

Currently sitting in the restaurant at Shoemaker's in Lincoln. After I eat I will roll a couple miles to my Consignee and camp there for my late morning delivery tomorrow. Only 460 miles for yesterday and today combined. Probably only the 155 miles back to Akron for truck exchange tomorrow.

 

Thanks Haz. Yea, I was there from 13:00 yesterday and til 09:15 this morning. I had the drivers lounge to myself. The other couple drivers there stayed in their trucks. I saw the trucks. I don't know which one I am getting but likely the one that is hooked to that new trailer. They say they need to train me on the new truck so that's why they would not let me switch this morning. The shop was open this morning and there were people in operations. So I addressed matters with them face-to-face. The new occupied Freightliner next to me has opti-idle. It kept turning off and on all day and all night like a Reefer on cycle mode. No apu on the new Freightliners.

 

I'm camped at the Consignee. Typical old Consignee mixed in with an old residential/rental neighborhood. Yippee! My mood seems to be stuck on grouchy. The only cure I know is Miles and lots of them.

 

Nope. I didn't lock any doors. Have you been to Akron before? Do you know which building has the drivers lounge? It is the building with the dock doors. Supposed to be open 24/7.
