I got a buddy that has been considering Heyl. He's burnt-out on the 3-4 week out thing. I'm still trying to steer him to Heyl since they get drivers back to Florida quickly and are liberal on home time. I told him to negotiate this new truck I'm driving into the deal. He'd prefer something home every day but that seems to be rare around Daytona. If anyone knows of something let me know and I'll pass it along.

Parked next to a casino in Northern Kansas on US 75. 373. 5 today. 2.5 hrs to get offloaded. Sent MT call and heard nothing from Heyl for 2.5 hrs. I finally sent a message "what's up?" Then they promptly sent a message having me head up to the Akron Terminal to pickup a load there that goes to San Antonio.

Pretty sure with NFI you'll see all east coast and alot of NE. Any West freight will be railed . Have you thought about Lessors?
-
You know I wonder if your big stall out last week with no freight was more about your "complaining"
about miles ... Think someone in the office might be slowing you down ? Should be hard to figure out who / truck you are by reading this thread...
also do you think 4.5 months is enough time to really know how they fit?
im sure crete's .43 is appealing ... The grass being greener & all -
-
I believe I have been quite accurate and fair with Heyl on this thread. They are a good company. I have not worked for a bad one.
jparm, Pintlehook and paul_4lp Thank this. -
I Think alot is Elogs & HOS rules.. Conway dispatches at 45 mph ... A good 20 mph under our max 65 mph travel ... Few loads like ups & CWF are @ 51
I like Abiline express ... YardDart & Johnboy are having success with them ... That said you probably should stick with Crete ... Your going on fifth job change in 3 years ...( I believe) anymore Job hopping and I would think employers might start to take issues with it
^^ just my 2 centsDinomite Thanks this.
