Ok, so I got to the terminal Sunday morning at 06:30 and my wife drove the 45 minutes over there from our home in Winter Haven. We offloaded everything that wasn't necessary for the delivery at 05:00 Monday morning 20 miles from the Terminal. And I prepped the truck for the next inhabitant. This morning I got up at 02:30 and headed back to the terminal. Grabbed the load and made it to the Consignee at 04:15. As feared, it was a horrible last Consignee. At 08:00 I was Finally put in a door. At 10:30 I was Finally MT. So I head back towards the terminal and I get a message on the Peoplenet. After I am parked at the terminal I check the message and believe it or not, the message wants to know if I want to deliver a load in Winter Haven at 21:00 tonight. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief. Somehow these people never knew me. I promptly sent my reply "No thanks. No more Reefer for me. I am at the Florida Terminal turning in the truck as agreed upon." Which I did professionally. 40 miles today. End of story.

Heyl recruiting left a message on my voice mail today.
That doesn't make any sense. They knew which buttons to push to run me off and they chose to push those buttons. I'm gonna assume the recruiter must call all former drivers.paul_4lp Thanks this. -
If you're acclimated to the "Reefer Lifestyle", and are content with earning in the 50ks, this place is a good option for Florida drivers. I came to them from dry van and didn't adjust well at all to the "Reefer Lifestyle". Curiosity got the best of me as to whether it was Reefer in general or Heyl. After brief tries with Lessors and Shaffer, I must acknowledge that Heyl was the best experience of the 3. The three glowing qualities at Heyl for me were: long length of haul, overall driver treatment, and the frequency of getting back to Florida.
