My husband is a driver for them. He went from OTR to TX Regional. And he still gets sent OTR. The driver dispatcher is very prejudiced. He does not care if you need sleep, hometime, maintenance or anything that requires the truck to stop. And the owners of the company know it and will not do anything about it. So beware of what you may get yourself into with Heyl Trucking.

Lol at ramkatral. I would never say trucking is a joke. My dad was a truck driver, my late husband and I drove as a team, and my husband now too. But it does look like hey! To joseph1135, I suppose that could be the joke.

How much experience does he have? Does he have 2 years and hazmat? We have some openings. Our OTR van guys still get hone every two weeks.

Heyl is one of the better companies out there. Sometimes you hit a bad spell. I've got a few buddies over there. Love it.

I did the same exact thing. Wrote a snide comeback then realized that I needed to clean my glasses.

Mama ain't happy and she is gonna tell everybody!
All dispatchers have their favorite drivers and its always going to be that way. A dispatcher that doesn't want the truck to stop rolling! Its a frickin' dream!!!!!
I've worked at their HQ in Akron IA, Heyl is one of the best driver orientated companies out there, period. Ragging on a company based soley on what you husband is telling you is not cool, you don't even work there, it's all second hand info, have your husband step up and tell us first hand.
