    I have had a bad experience with these types of miles are all companys the same when it comes to hhg miles?

    Yes, the driver gets screwed, about 5-7 % worth.

    Agreed my experience is it can be up to 10% off depending on where you are

    I agree with the other posters, HHG is a bad deal. Example, back in '88 to '91 i hauled Miller beer from Milwaukee to St Louis, put on 400 miles on the hub, got payed for 360 miles HHG. When hauled beer to Denver, the mileage was still off but not by 10%, maybe 5% if i remember right.
