I did IT for 35 years, the last 10 years was playing a one man IT show for 700 users. It eventually gave me a heart attack. I am really doing trucking for 2 reasons. One benefits, as health insurances gets more expensive every day, and two I have my little 11 year old dog and I would like a job where she can come with me. I know money is always a motivator to some but I have saved my entire life like a miser!! So I am OK luckily on that side of the coin. I would like to see some more of the country. My instructors at school have stated the same thing you did. And they say my first year will be the toughest. I am a pretty relaxed guy, and get along with most. Stress is something I have a much better handle on now.
