I am thinking about taking the big plunge and driving for a team based outfit like "Crst".
I know they pay low but i dont care about making alot of money.
I just want to start out things in team format.
It just seems alot less intimidating i guess.
Probably quite a bit less lonesome as well.
I've heard alot of negative comments about "Crst" but like i said,i really dont care about making alot of money.
It just seems like i'd be better off overall to stay in the team format as being the first year of critical experience that i need to have on my resume in order to eventually get into a co. that allows alot more hometime.
I'd like to eventually land a job at someplace like "Estes" for example.
Where you get to go back home most days of each week.
Just to ask a question though before i wrap up this here post....
What other companies do you's know of besides "Crst" that stay exclusively in team format...?

OH honey NEVER tell any future employer that you don't care about making a lot of money you will get every cheep *** piece of freight out there and it will never change the whole time you are with them..you lower the standard for yourself and you lower it for the rest of us! If you are not worth a descent wage then don't get into trucking. Not being rude trying to get you to understand how someone willing to not make money ruines the party for everybody work for as much as you can get.
oh forgot...welcome to the group and sincerely best of luck out here
Baack Thanks this. -
L.B.P..Thanks for the post.I agree with you're points.
I guess i was just meaning that as far as the initial first year of experience goes,i am not concerned about making tons of money.I am much more thinking about getting in that solid year of experience which will lead to better opportunities with better companies.
Companies that will have local opportunities for experienced drivers.
And of course, then,i will be thinking ALOT MORE about the money aspect.Lil Blue Pony Thanks this.
