You should write what you said on the back of your trailer and let everyone know the rules. :)

Know the limits of your truck. If it takes you two miles to pass and it bugs you, back out of it and go the the 1 mph slower than you want. Pick your battles wisely.

If drivers are yelling at you on the cb when you're backing. A) turn off the radio and B) if you see a truck or two or three waiting while you back, let them pass when you can.

    ---

The OP does definitely show how the 'everybody is winner and we all need to play nice' attitude that is prevelant in today's society meets the real world.

I will hold back when merging and let the truck that moved over come back into the right lane most of the time but if he's like the Prime driver I encountered a while back who was hypermiling and even holding at 55 I was still gaining on him, I just say #### it and punch it.

You need to learn some patience and learn not to get bent out of shape.Sounds like you was in a heavy conjested area.Forget about getting over just slow down and let the people on.When you're somewhere theres a lot of traffic and you merge over then wanna get back over, you're going to have a tough time. When you see an officer on the shoulder and can't get over just slow down. With more exp you gain comes how to properly drive in situations.

Maybe this Michael Z will post who he operates for, truck number, travel lanes so

he can be easily Identified and given the common courtesy he's looking for!

Kinda sad that he threw out the bait and It was gulped.

Be interested to see if he ever asks for advice on here! Can hear the crickets already.:biggrin_25525:

So seeing if he trolls other places before I ban him is stalking. It's a job of a moderator to verify the validity of someone questionable to make the right decision, thank you. Now that I have sometimes I let the members have a little fun.

Trying to moderate a moderator is weird! :)

Is Zen driver still upset about this. Look Z. Maybe the driver you were nice enough to move over for and let on to the interstate, was in a hurry to get to the truck stop. So he can eat that G I A N T plate of Buffet food. God forbid he should lose a few seconds by letting you back in the right lane. You know, as a way of saying thank you for your concideration. And by the loss of those precious few seconds. He might not be able to take that last bite of that GIANT plate of food. And allwlays remember just because they are old timers, doesn't mean they are professional. It just means they are old. I can say that and get away with it. CAUSE IM OLD. Anyway try to have a good a safe day.:biggrin_25525:

First of all, I'm new. I was taught properly.

Maybe you were taught properly.....but one thing is for certain.....you didn't learn too much.......just another "old hand's" observation......
