Before you give up on trucking, go to a company with APU's or a tanker/hazmat company. Think about it, you rarely see tankers in rest areas or truck stops; they keep rolling or most customers have parking. Can get a good local tanker job and be home weekends or even every day and make $55K - $65K per year.

This next question is for a moderator or I guess anyone that knows the answer. Why do some statements have the word thanks at the bottom and some don't. Do they only allow certain statements to have the word thanks.

 

Any post can be "thanked." If you look at the bottom left corner of every post there is a "thanks" button, if you click on that it will thank the post.

You won't see the thanks button on your own posts, but it is there for everyone else to see.

 

O M G that's funny. lol. I can't believe I didn't think of that. That way you can't thank yourself. thanks for your help.
